A native New Yorker who now spends half the year in Spain, DeSimone is an award-winning journalist and author. He is the co-author of five books, including Red Wine, which won the Gourmand International Award for Best Wine Book in the World of the Last 25 Years, and Wines of the Southern Hemisphere, which Gourmand named Best Wine Book in the USA. A wine educator who hosts tastings in person, online and on television, DeSimone studied journalism at NYU and marketing at FIT.
