Beringer 2019 Steinhauer Ranch Cabernet Sauvignon (Howell Mountain)

Cellar Selection

This quietly powerful wine grown at 1,900 feet elevation is deep, dark and delicious, offering concentrated black cherries, black currants and dark chocolate on a creamy texture of super-fine-grained tannins. Possibly the best of Beringer's 2019 Cabernet offerings, it shows a seamless blend of fruits, spices and cocoa that carries over to a lingering finish. Best from 2027–2037. Jim Gordon
